Aloha boys and girls,
the year comes to an end. It was the most turbulent year EVER for the little surf band from Wiesbaden. Here are a few numbers for your entertainment:
71 shows in 11 countries
33000 km
5 drummers, 2 bassplayers, 1 guitarist
1 new record with 19 songs
We had tons of great shows, saw amazing places and met wonderful people everywhere. Thanks to everyone, who set up a gig, cooked for us, gave us a place to sleep (we appreciate it, even when it’s just a living room floor) or just came to the gig and had fun dancing, screaming and drinking..
So it’s time for a break…After wrapping up the year with a show at the Ponyhof in Frankfurt, we get off the road till march.
We wish you a happy time till spring. Have a nice christmas (if you still need presents, our shop is open 24/7), a happy new year and come back to the concerts in 2012…it’s our 10th aniversary then and we’ll be back with some surprises…Stay tuned!

after getting some sleep, fighting the jetlag and accustomizing to German life again, we got some news for you:

We’re featured on a David Bowie Tribute Sampler called “Ziggy Played Surf Guitar”, which you can check out here. We speed up “All The Young Dudes” a little and Rob has fun with “Heroes”
We’re also getting ready for our fall tour, which will lead us through…let’s see…six countries, with a lot of dates in Germany. Hope to see you there! We will have the rest of the US-T-Shirts for sale, some 3 XL left, so if you need a new home for your family, drop by!

Aloha boys and girls,
the US-Tour was a blast! We travelled a few thousand miles, played at cool places and made tons of new friends! Big thanks to the great crowds we had, the wonderful bands we played with ( we realy loved Daikaju, Secret Samurai, Insect Surfers, 3 Balls Of Fire, Slacktone and our cute Italian Friends Bradipos IV) and all the guys that helped setting it up…from Bigtikidude to Dusty, Doug, Sean and the rest of helpful Americans.
We’ll be back!

Hi guys, we’re getting ready for our first tour in the United States! First gig is in Seattle on July 29th and then we go down the whole west coast to San Diego. We’ll meet some friends like Slacktone, The Insect Surfers and 3 Balls Of Fire and will hopefully make some new ones!.Check out the dates and the tourposter below and hope to see you somewhere in the states!!

We play one more gig in Germany, tomorrow, before we go on an interesting trip in the summer..more about that later…If you prefer us loud and sweaty, check out the tourdates for the fall. We will travel around in Germany a little more and go to the UK, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands.. Whoa, looking forward to that!

Aloha guys,
we nearly made it on the cover of the Rolling Stone…no, just kidding, but we got a nice review from Wolfgang Doebeling, which you can check out here:
Sorry about no updates for a while, but we had to play a lot of shows in …hmm, let’s count….7 european countries, did a release party with singers, (which was great by the way…), promoted the new album, did a shooting for the brand Rumble 59 (take a look at the upcoming catalogue) and had to deal with the difficulties in the life of a rock’n'roll band..like broken down cars, broken shoulders of drummers, cancelled shows by promoters and other fun things…
Well, we won’t complain….life could be worse 
We’re looking forward to some shows in Germany now, before we prepare for another adventurous trip in summer…more about that soon. There will be a David Bowie Sampler out soon…with a cool track by us…

NEW CD AND VIDEO OUT!

Aloha boys and girls, we made it! The new CD “Gimme Some Noise!” is ready and available at iTunes, Amazon, CDbaby, guitar9 and Flight 13.
We think it’s our best one up to date and have some surprises for you: Besides 19 songs there are singers, tons of guitars and some stylistic elements you wouldn’t expect from us. Hope you enjoy the album!

On April 2nd we’re gonna have a big CD Release Party at the Schlachthof in Wiesbaden with some special guests…hope to see you there! Afterwards there will be more touring…Spain, France, Belgium & The Netherlands are waiting for us!

Aloha boys and girls, hope the new year is looking good for you…The Razorblades are getting ready for the most promising year in the history of the band…but one thing after the other..
First, our new CD GIMME SOME NOISE is nearly finished. Mixed and mastered, the artwork in the making ..so it should be ready to go in March! There will also be a cute looking vinyl version..more abot that topic later.
We have tons of shows coming up and are planning to tour all around the world this year…from Germany through Europe and the USA…we’ll keep you posted. Check the gig page regularly for updates. So far we have Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, UK, Spain, Netherlands, France, maybe Denmark, USA and more coming up…YEAAAAH!!!
We kick of the new year with two local shows in our hometown Wiesbaden and Hanau…looking forward to seeing all of you guys jumping around again!

Well, we got back from our tour in one piece…maybe a little tired and worn out, but the whole trip was worth it.
We had great shows, met nice people, took showers at strange places and convinced all kinds of people that surfmusic is a great thing…from the usual punkrockers and billy-guys to Hell’s Angels, japanese barkeepers and whoever else came along…Nice to meet friends like Pirato Ketchup and The Peacocks and make new ones. Thanks to everyone who helped setting up the whole thing and came to the shows!
We go out for a few more dates in Germany by the end of the month and in early December, then wrap up the year -as usual – with a show in Juz Bingen. This time with our friends from Holland, The Biarritz Boys…
Between the years, we’ll finish the new record, do a video for one song and take care of the cover. After that it’s promotion time and….gigs, gigs, gigs. We’ll go to some unknown places…Stay tuned and keep a lookout for the tourdates in the next year.
We have to sleep now…See you at one of the gigs!!
